FHS HAS BUILT ITS FIRST PERMANENT HOME
After 34 years in a converted office building, the Forest History Society has constructed a new library, archives, and headquarters that has already become a point of pride for the forest and conservation communities. Nestled on 8.6 wooded acres, this 16,750-square-foot building is the first one designed from the ground up to accommodate the collections and work of the Society. It is transforming the way we work and contribute to the work of others. We welcome your participation in this historic initiative.
