Founded by a gift from the Weyerhaeuser Family, the Forest History Society (FHS) is a nonprofit library and archives dedicated to collecting, preserving, and disseminating forest and conservation history for all to use. FHS houses one of the world’s most comprehensive collections of the history of forests and plays a vital role in understanding forests, their evolution and use, and their relationship to today’s environment and economy.
