“Tomorrow’s Planet: Preparing Future Natural Resources and Forestry Leaders”
with Lori Bennear, Indy Burke, Sam Cook, and Bettina Ring
Join us for Tomorrow’s Planet: Preparing Future Natural Resources and Forestry Leaders, an in-person conversation at the Forest History Society. This special event will bring together three prominent university natural resources leaders—Indy Burke, Lori Bennear, and Sam Cook—for a forward-looking discussion on the future of forestry and environmental education. Moderated by Bettina Ring, President of the Society of American Foresters, the conversation will explore how we can equip the next generation of leaders to address the evolving challenges of sustainability, climate change, and forest stewardship.

The Lynn W. Day Distinguished Lectureship in Forest and Conservation History is sponsored by the Forest History Society, the Duke University Department of History, and Duke University's Nicholas School of the Environment.
