Image Caption:  Cameron Hill Tower in Harnett County, North Carolina. [Cameron Hill Tower was the first fire lookout tower constructed by the State of North Carolina. The tower was built in 1926 and used until about 1937 when it was replaced by a new Civilian Conservation Corps wood tower. The tower was replaced again in 1951 with a steel structure.]
